NOVENA FOR LLOYD'S CO-OPERATION AND CONTRIBUTION IN HIS OWN CARE

O Holy St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, near kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your special help in time of need. To you I have recourse from the depth of my heart and humbly request assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition. Pray for me. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of, particularly in Lloyd co-operating and contributing towards his personal and medical care.

In return, I promise, O blessed St. Jude Thaddeus, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you by publishing this request.

RESULTS of NOVENA ending 7/18/09

The staff at Via Christi-St. Joseph hospital were very helpful in finding a new placement for Lloyd when Sandpiper Health and Rehabilitation would not take him back after the second violent incident. He is now at Golden Living Center of Wichita as of two weeks ago today.

The residents at Golden Living are a more lively lot than those at Sandpiper. Lloyd's attitude, has improved some, but I realize it is early days. He has been up and waiting for Speedy and me on Saturday mornings. When I visit him in the late afternoon, however, he usually is dozing and the conversations are even more difficult than usual.
