The staff at Via Christi-St. Joseph hospital were very helpful in finding a new placement for Lloyd when Sandpiper Health and Rehabilitation would not take him back after the second violent incident. He is now at Golden Living Center of Wichita as of two weeks ago today.
The residents at Golden Living are a more lively lot than those at Sandpiper. Lloyd's attitude, has improved some, but I realize it is early days. He has been up and waiting for Speedy and me on Saturday mornings. When I visit him in the late afternoon, however, he usually is dozing and the conversations are even more difficult than usual.
